Being a Vernon Photographer in the Okanagan Valley for almost 20 years, I can say there are only a handful of weddings where the weather was poor. That’s one of the reasons why this beautiful couple from Alberta chose Vernon and Predator Ridge Golf Resort as the perfect location for their beautiful wedding ceremony. Weather can usually be very predictable in August. It is hot and dry. But for this blessed day, we got RAIN, hail (yes HAIL) and SUN all in a window of an hour and a half! Thankfully their wedding vibe was all about family and they had family on hand to help dry chairs, everyone was able to wait out the rain and our awesome golf cart chauffeur got us to my car without getting too wet!

Jon and Meghan are SO in love with each other and they radiate an incredible energy when they are together. Add in their beautiful children and you have one stunning family!

With a smaller, more intimate wedding, after family portraits I whisked Jon & Meghan away to Sparkling Hill Resort where Jon actually proposed to Meghan on a romantic trip the two of them took. Returning to this place was very important to them and the scenery there is such a beautiful backdrop.
