As a Kelowna Wedding Photographer, I was THRILLED when Victoria and Jace contacted me to see if I would be free to photograph their Keefer Lake Lodge wedding next summer. If you have seen some of my weddings from there, you know it is my absolute FAVOURITE venue and making the venue even more special to Victoria and Jace, is that her dad owns the lodge! How amazing is that!

Jace and Victoria’s love story goes all the way back to Grade 7 and officially to Grade 8 when they started dating. My son was in Grade 8 this past year and I can only imagine how cute the two of them were together back then!

When I asked if they had ever done professional photos together before, they smiled and said “Prom” 😉

They are both currently out East for work and school so finding a time to capture their Engagement Session while they were in the Okanagan for a vacation was important. Victoria really wanted to incorporate a vineyard in some of their session and being from the Okanagan as well, I thought getting Okanagan Lake in some of the portraits would be super important too. I love how close Summerhill Pyramid Winery is to those quintessential lake views.

We had the perfect summer night. Looking at these portraits you can feel the warmth and smell the summer air as the sun started to set. It was a dreamy session from start to finish and I am so grateful I got to capture this exciting time in their lives!
