Nothing gets me more excited as a Kelowna Wedding Photographer than to go on an adventure with my bride and groom or couple. And when it is getting to go up above Keefer Lake Lodge into the alpine meadows of the Monashee Mountains in a side by side, I have an extra big perma grin.
Collin and Helena are not your stay at home couple. I knew from previous conversations that they were often out of cell service range on epic hiking and camping adventures, but at their wedding reception I learned even more about their spirit of adventure from skiing, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling and marathon running.
So when I learned they had never been in a side by side, and we started off on our Sunday morning adventure to complete their wonderful wedding at Keefer Lake Lodge, the conversation quickly turned to them discussing…..”do you think one of these would fit in our garage?” Ha Ha. I love it!
We had so much fun taking the approximately 45 mins. drive up into the alpine meadows that look down on to the valley and although it was smokey we were blessed with very few bugs, gorgeous lighting and beautiful little plants that had bloomed into what looked like something out of a Dr. Seuss book.
And again I WAY over shot because gosh they look so beautiful together! Thanks again Collin and Helena for entrusting me to capture the magic that exists between the two of you.
