As a Vernon Photographer, nothing fills my heart and creative soul more than capturing the wedding of one of my dearest friends’ sons! I had the extreme honour of photographing her daughter Emma’s wedding a few years ago, and now Emma’s son, was a part of the wedding party, brining his cuteness to every moment.
Aidan and Salina’s beautiful love story was also captured last year in one of my favorite Engagement Sessions, as their dog Mosin is one handsome boy, brining his A game to every pose.
It was a big family affair, having numerous siblings and their spouses in the wedding party too, so working with all of them, felt so very familiar and joyous. It’s hard not to let my emotions get the better of me when capturing people I know so well but I have to say, the tears made an appearance during Salina and Aidan’s first look. Aidan, in my mind could still be celebrating his first birthday with his twin brother and to see him so happy makes my heart burst.
I loved how they look at each other, and fit effortlessly into each others arms. They share a beautiful bond and the life they are making in Victoria is so lovely. I am very thankful they chose to come back to the Okanagan for their wedding!
