We Vernon Photographers are used to a winter that includes snow. When we plan our engagement sessions or winter weddings, there is lots of talk of what environment would best showcase winter and also identify ways to help couples stay warm during their portraits.
This year, there is NO snow. We had a few days but the mild temperatures made it disappear long ago.
This beautiful couple is getting married in a week and a half and I am crossing my fingers and toes for snow! We have the most amazing venue for portraits and it would be magical with the snow!
When you meet Henry and Eva it is immediate that their love is sweet and tender. They met working at a great local Cider House, Farmstrong and I am SO excited the Farmstrong family is allowing us on their property for wedding portraits after the ceremony!
For their Ceremony, Henry and Eva are having a latin mass at a beautiful Catholic church near me. Having been a wedding photographer for 21 years, this will only be my second time photographing such a special ceremony and I am very honoured.
To get an idea of their beautiful relationship, one only has to hear that Henry is building Eva a house for their future together. The day of their engagement session, I actually had to edit out cuts on his hand because he been working all morning on their house. Isn’t that the sweetest!!!
