Okanagan Wedding Photographers

There are so many beautiful wedding venues for us Okanagan Wedding Photographers. And after 22 years of photographing weddings, I love working at a new reception venue. Not only is it exciting for me to photograph somewhere new, but it gives me one more venue I can suggest to my clients when they are looking for one in the Okanagan Valley.

Not far from Vernon is the town of Falkland BC. Many of us in the Okanagan Valley know Falkland for driving through it on the way to Kamloops or for it’s famous Falkland Stampede which is one of Canada’s oldest rodeo weekends. Every Victoria Day long weekend, Falkland transforms into the heart of rodeo action. It bring in top competitors, packed bleachers and a community that knows how to put on a show!

For Henry and Eva, (if you haven’t seen their past two wedding blogs you need to check out their wedding portraits plus their beautiful Latin Mass ceremony portraits) Falkland is their new home town. Choosing the Falkland Community Hall for the reception was perfect as it was close to their new home and I was super excited to see inside a new venue for me to photograph. Wow, did they and their family transform it a reception masterpiece. It was spectacular!
