As Vernon Photographers for the pass 22 years, we have been witness to a lot of beautiful and ceremonially beautiful weddings. But the wedding of Henry and Eva will be one I will remember forever. It was full of immersing myself in a traditional Latin Mass and being transformed by the beauty and mystery of it all.
After the marriage ceremony, mass followed and for an hour and a half there were meaningful rituals, prayers, a latin choir and communion. It shared the love of this man and woman and their deep beliefs.
Having met working at a local cidery, Henry and Eva were gifted with the rare opportunity to use the beautiful grounds of Farmstrong Cider Company for their wedding party, family portraits and bride and groom portraits. It was spectacular! Henry and Eva have created beautiful memories there in the past and so to incorporate such a meaningful location as their backdrop for portraits was very special.
Finishing the night off in their hometown of Falkland, they converted the Falkland Community Hall into the most magical and breathtaking reception area. Cozy areas for sitting, a beautiful u-shaped dining experience….it was truly a masterpiece! So much care and attention went into every detail including the amazing florals created by Henry’s mother!!! And to top the evening off, they had a celtic inspired trio to play music for the dance. Their soon to be brother in law, called the dances and to have everyone up and doing ceilidh inspired dances was SO fun!
Henry and Eva, thank you for including me on your very special day! I will never forget it and I plan on creating more blog posts created to celebrate this incredible day! Happy Valentines Day!
